Role Overview & Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and engage guests with confidence and a lively demeanor consistent with the 25hours brand personality.
• Organize guest seating, manage flow and table assignments optimally across reservations and walk-ins to ensure balanced service coverage.
• Address specific guest needs by liaising closely with service staff to meet or exceed their expectations effectively.
• Stay informed on current menus, events, seating plans, and guest preferences to provide excellent service.
• Resolve guest concerns and feedback professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain a continuous presence at the host stand to ensure smooth guest reception and preserve the restaurant’s inviting atmosphere.
• Use the reservation system meticulously to input, update, and verify booking details and seating arrangements.
• Confirm bookings, guest counts, and preferences while communicating updates promptly to relevant teams.
• Answer incoming calls swiftly and courteously, handling inquiries, messages, and reservations accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen, service, and bar teams to synchronize service pace according to guest volume.
• Uphold cleanliness and orderliness at the reception and entrance; assist in table clearing and resetting as needed.
• Assist with auxiliary duties like updating seating charts, polishing menus, and distributing menus.
• Adhere to grooming and uniform guidelines to maintain a chic and polished appearance.
• Comply with all fire, health, safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements internally and locally.
• Encourage teamwork, cooperation, and mutual respect throughout the restaurant and cross departments.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Familiarity with restaurant operations including staffing, equipment use, and guest service.
• Proficient English reading skills to understand guest communications, memos, and promotional materials thoroughly.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively for small team meetings and information sharing.
• Memory skills to learn, recall, and promote a wide range of menu offerings.
• Physical ability to navigate crowded environments for seating guests.
• Competence in addressing customer complaints warmly and constructively, listening empathically and offering proactive resolutions.
• A minimum of high school education or equivalent qualification.
• Preferred experience includes 6 to 12 months in serving roles; prior hospitality experience is a plus.
• Additional language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
