Position Overview

The Hostess role involves welcoming guests, assessing their party size, and escorting them to clean and available tables. This includes preparing seating arrangements by pulling out chairs, placing clean and current menus, and providing assistance navigating the dining areas. Additionally, the role requires ensuring proper place settings with napkins, clean silverware, and other standard items.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage table setups by moving and organizing tables, chairs, and place settings to accommodate guests, including groups with special requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and order within workspaces throughout the day, following clean-as-you-go protocols.
• Monitor dining room conditions to evaluate seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and overall well-being.
• Comply with all company and safety regulations, reporting any accidents, injuries, or hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality and security standards.
• Welcome guests warmly according to company standards, communicate clearly and professionally, and handle phone etiquette appropriately.
• Foster positive team relationships, support collective goals, and respond to colleagues’ concerns effectively.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors, including standing or moving for extended periods and handling objects up to 10 pounds.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Completion of high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: No prior related work or supervisory experience is necessary.
• Licenses/Certifications: None required.
