Job description

Overview

Join Rollins, Inc. as a Home Services Technician specializing as a Termite Professional. Be part of a company with over 125 years of leadership in pest control and home services. In this role, prioritizing safety is essential as you perform vital installations that enhance home comfort and protection, while building a stable career path with advancement prospects.

This position involves hands-on duties across various environments such as rooftops, crawl spaces, and attics. Each day offers varied tasks while you follow a pre-determined route and deliver quality home service installations that contribute to homeowner safety and efficiency.

Work Schedule

  • Option 1: Work three 13-hour shifts per week with four days off.
  • Option 2: Work four 10-hour shifts per week with three days off.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow a daily assigned route within your service territory.
  • Install and prepare services including attic remediations, crawl space encapsulation, gutter protection, and radiant heat barriers.
  • Complete all required documentation related to the services provided.
  • Establish trusted relationships and represent the company with professionalism.
  • Work safely in varied settings such as rooftops, confined spaces, ladders, attics, and crawl spaces.
  • Operate company vehicles responsibly.
  • Occasionally handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain safety standards in all job aspects and customer interactions.
  • Perform duties in various weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting wage from $20 to $22 per hour, with annual earnings exceeding $50,000 for average first-year employees.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Effective communication and listening abilities.
  • Willingness to perform physical work in various environments.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Will to obtain any required state certifications; training and payment provided by the company.

Physical and Work Environment

  • Meet physical demands including safe ladder use within limits, crawling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and transport items up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in confined, elevated, and varying workspaces like attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops.
  • Use personal protective equipment, including OSHA-compliant respirators when required.
  • Perform work in all weather conditions.
