Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

The Home Delivery Driver position is essential for ensuring excellent customer service by delivering shopping items safely and efficiently. Working as the face of the company, the driver will interact directly with customers and maintain high standards of delivery performance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe loading of vans, including managing heavy lifting and manual handling appropriately.
• Follow all safe driving practices consistently to ensure safety on the road.
• Perform routine van checks to maintain vehicle safety and reliability.
• Ensure all food items reach customers in excellent condition.
• Deliver outstanding customer service during interactions.
• Assist with in-store duties as needed.
• Work with independence and efficiently manage time during shifts.
• Be flexible in shift patterns, which may range from early mornings (6am) to late evenings (11pm).

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full UK driving license held for at least three years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Display a positive attitude and friendliness along with a passion for excellent customer experience.
• Be punctual and able to meet deadlines effectively.
• Have a strong awareness of road safety regulations and practices.
