Home Delivery Driver

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team, responsible for delivering groceries to customers while representing our brand positively. This is a physically active and independent role that requires excellent customer service skills and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Load the delivery van safely, including performing manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
• Adhere strictly to all safe driving regulations and practices.
• Conduct thorough van inspections before starting delivery routes.
• Ensure groceries are delivered to customers in optimal condition.
• Offer friendly and professional service to customers upon delivery.
• Assist with store duties as needed.
• Work independently while managing time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Be flexible with working hours, which may vary between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate punctuality and an ability to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a strong focus on road safety awareness.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate of £13.71.
• Minimum of 28 days holiday per year, inclusive of Bank Holidays, increasing with length of service.
