About the Role

Join Iceland Foods as a Home Delivery Driver based in Bishop Auckland, England. This position involves delivering grocery orders to customers while ensuring excellent service and maintaining the company's reputation as a leading retailer. You will be responsible for handling deliveries safely, managing your schedule independently, and acting as a friendly representative of the brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans safely, including performing manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
• Follow safe driving rules consistently while on the road.
• Conduct routine checks on the delivery vehicle before and during shifts.
• Ensure grocery items are delivered in optimal condition to customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction.
• Assist in-store operations when needed.
• Manage your workload independently, adhering to shift schedules that may range from early morning (6am) to late evening (11pm) hours.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license with at least three years held and no more than six penalty points.
• Demonstrate a positive, friendly attitude and be passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines reliably.
• Show a strong awareness and commitment to road safety regulations.
