Hollowcore Design Technician

Job Overview

Our client, a prominent precast concrete manufacturer located in Galway and Offaly, is seeking a Hollowcore Design Technician. This role involves working on a wide array of projects ranging from individual residential jobs to large-scale commercial, educational, industrial, and residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Create hollowcore flooring layouts and produce associated design drawings tailored to varied projects.
• Collaborate with the broader design team to guarantee that drawings adhere to project specifications and requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments and external partners to address and resolve technical issues.
• Organize and prioritize daily tasks effectively to ensure all project deadlines are met.
• Ensure precision and high-quality standards across all aspects of design work.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in a precast design office environment, ideally with knowledge of precast flooring systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Familiarity with AutoFloor software is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to prioritize workload and meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative.
