Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified electrician for the role of Maintenance Technician based at a reputable company in CityWest, Dublin. This is a full-time position operating on a 3-shift cycle across 5 days per week, totaling 37.5 working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute routine and emergency maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment utilizing diagnostic techniques to minimize operational downtime.
• Maintain and repair automated conveyor systems, including strapping, printing, and labeling machinery.
• Perform motor maintenance and replacements as required.
• Evaluate and enhance maintenance procedures continuously.

Desired Additional Experience

• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, including cold rooms and freezers.
• Familiarity with building services such as HVAC systems, pumps, burners, and sprinkler systems.
• Experience working with pneumatic systems.
• Understanding of scanners, sensors, Profibus communication protocol, and Siemens Simatic automation equipment.
• Basic IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
