Role Overview

The HMI Scrum Manager (Product Owner) will coordinate, prioritize, and manage the work of the scrum team with a focus on Human Machine Interface (HMI) deliverables. This role involves gathering feature requests, scheduling releases, organizing sprints aligned with program timelines, and collaborating across teams to meet product goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Integrate feature requests into a comprehensive product roadmap.
• Manage, groom, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Develop clear user stories accompanied by acceptance criteria.
• Define sprint goals and plan product releases and upgrades.
• Coordinate Pre-Integration testing to align with planned deliverables.
• Monitor sprint progress and address production issues promptly.
• Analyze and incorporate preferences and requests of program Product Owners.
• Continuously refine agile methodologies based on outcomes and stakeholder feedback.
• Stay updated with industry trends, requirements, and emerging skills.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner or similar product management role.
• Proficient understanding and hands-on application of Agile frameworks.
• Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies.
• Strong teamwork spirit coupled with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Preferred Additional Expertise

• Familiarity with model-based design methodologies.
• Experience in automotive infotainment development.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Understanding of automotive network management systems.
• Proficiency in Android programming.
• Knowledge of CAN communication protocols.
• Expertise in HMI architecture.
