About the Role
Speedy Hire, a leading UK provider of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant, and support services, is seeking a Hire Controller to join their Leeds depot. This position plays a crucial role in operations, managing the entire hire process to ensure seamless service from order placement through to delivery and return. The Hire Controller liaises with various teams including stock personnel, drivers, and engineers to minimize delays and fulfill customer requirements effectively.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00, totaling 42 hours per week.
Compensation
The salary for this role is £29,572 annually.
Candidate Profile
Successful candidates will possess strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written), adaptability, a commitment to continuous learning and development, and a valid driving license. Prior experience within the hire industry or a comparable sales or operations environment is required. Additionally, candidates should be prepared to support the business unit's Environmental, Social, and Governance Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
