NEWSOFT CONSULTANTS is a venture capital-backed stealth mode startup specializing in Electronic Design Automation (EDA). It is currently seeking a founding member of its technical staff to contribute to AI Agentic Engineering.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing agentic AI capabilities focused on network, wired, and wireless communications, as well as test and measurement solutions. The work spans host and embedded systems involving PCIe, Ethernet, DDR/HBM, high-speed SerDes, DMA, on-chip interconnects, packet and data processing pipelines, and high-throughput data acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect FPGA, ASIC, and SoC emulation platforms.
• Engage hands-on in hardware design and verification activities.
• Develop and debug firmware and device drivers alongside software lab testing.
• Utilize programming languages including Verilog/SystemVerilog, C/C++, and Python.
• Translate ambiguous engineering workflows into concrete architectures and functional capabilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven expertise in FPGA, ASIC, and SoC architecture and emulation.
• Strong experience with hardware design and verification methodologies.
• Skilled in firmware and driver development plus software debugging.
• Proficient in Verilog/SystemVerilog, C/C++, and Python programming languages.
• Ability to convert loosely defined engineering problems into executable architectures.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Computer Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.

Compensation

The annual salary package ranges from INR 8,000,000 to INR 20,000,000.
