About the Role
Wintara Company, a maintenance service provider specializing in HVAC/R and located in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, seeks a skilled HVAC/R Technician. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems across a variety of models and brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently identify faults, diagnose root causes, and perform repairs on HVAC equipment including chillers, package units, concealed units, VRF/VRV systems, cassette units, and split/commercial refrigeration systems.
- Perform electrical wiring and troubleshooting tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret electrical and control wiring diagrams to assist in diagnosing issues.
- Detect electrical faults and shorts, test components properly, and replace defective parts such as contactors, relays, capacitors, overloads, breakers, sensors, and thermostats.
- Troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other control systems.
- Conduct compressor diagnostics and replacements when necessary.
- Locate refrigerant leaks, perform charging, recovery, flushing, vacuuming, and pressure testing.
- Replace valves, motors, fans, and other HVAC mechanical components.
- Execute both preventive and corrective maintenance procedures addressing mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years of practical HVAC experience performing maintenance and repairs.
- Capable of working independently and making sound technical decisions with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel to multiple client or project sites across Saudi Arabia as needed.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia and possession of a valid Saudi driving license are beneficial.
- Strong communication abilities and a professional demeanor.
- Strict adherence to workplace safety guidelines.
