Job description
Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Health Program Manager to oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of health initiatives including their design, execution, oversight, and assessment. The individual will collaborate extensively with government agencies, healthcare providers, international organizations, sponsors, consultants, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with public health priorities and strategic goals.
Key Duties
- Direct the entire process from strategy development to evaluation for health programs.
- Create and oversee program plans, including budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with healthcare bodies, government entities, private sectors, and international organizations.
- Manage communications and coordination of leadership meetings, committees, and events with stakeholders.
- Conduct research to uncover new opportunities and design health initiatives consistent with strategic priorities.
- Track program outcomes through key performance indicators, metric evaluation, data analysis, and reporting.
- Detect risks, address issues, ensure compliance, and apply appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Support governance related to public health policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver educational and knowledge-transfer programs concerning health topics.
- Promote ongoing improvements and data-driven decision-making within programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience managing health, healthcare, or public health programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
- PMP certification or equivalent expertise in project management.
- Strong competencies in program planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Proven experience in stakeholder and partnership management.
- Understanding of healthcare/public health strategy and governance frameworks.
- Skilled in risk management, compliance, reporting, and preparing business cases.
- Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic language skills are preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Background in government health departments, Ministries of Health, or public health sectors.
- Experience working with healthcare providers, international health agencies, or related health programs.
- Expertise managing extensive health programs, financial plans, collaborations, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, Business, or related areas.
