Inspired by the delicate yet lucky ladybird, this venue provides a relaxed and vibrant space where guests can easily unwind and enjoy leisurely moments from day into night.
Role Overview
As Head Waitress, you will lead the service team to deliver outstanding hospitality, ensuring every guest enjoys a personalized and professional experience. Acting as the bridge between management and staff, you will oversee daily floor operations and maintain high service standards, assisting the Floor Supervisor to guarantee smooth and memorable service throughout shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the service team during daily operations, monitoring service flow, guest interactions, and overall team performance to uphold exemplary hospitality standards.
- Provide guests with a superior dining experience by quickly anticipating needs, handling requests, and resolving any issues effectively while aligning with Lady Bird’s service brand.
- Guide, motivate, and train the service team, supporting new member onboarding and enhancing their knowledge of menus, service protocols, and guest relations.
- Ensure accurate order taking and efficient POS usage, facilitating clear communication between the service, kitchen, and bar teams; manage special orders, VIP preferences, and dietary needs to achieve flawless service delivery.
- Supervise the preparation and upkeep of dining areas, tables, and service stations, guaranteeing cleanliness, aesthetic presentation, and resource availability throughout service periods.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the venue’s food, beverage offerings, promotions, and experiences; actively promote upselling of menu items, drinks, and special services to boost guest satisfaction and revenue.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in upscale restaurants, lounges, or luxury hospitality settings, including a minimum of 1 to 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrate extensive understanding of food and beverage service procedures, guest relationship management, POS systems, and luxury hospitality norms.
- Exhibit keen attention to detail, excellent presentation skills, and a commitment to superior service delivery.
- Maintain a professional appearance, positive demeanor, and a high level of accountability.
- Be adaptable to work schedules that include evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
