Role Overview

As the Head Therapist, you will manage comprehensive spa operations, ensuring top-tier service delivery and operational excellence while fostering a motivated and skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily spa operations adhering to company policies and uphold high service standards.
  • Maintain professionalism in appearance and service quality across all spa functions.
  • Lead, train, and support spa therapists and staff to ensure consistent exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication within the spa team and across other departments.
  • Assist in implementing spa and wellness programs, ensuring smooth operational execution.

Administrative and Financial Duties

  • Oversee inventory management, payroll processing, and control expenses to achieve financial objectives.
  • Generate reports analyzing productivity, product usage, and overall financial performance.
  • Contribute to revenue growth by setting retail and treatment targets, training staff in upselling techniques, and collaborating on promotional activities with the Spa Director.

Guest Experience and Quality Assurance

  • Guarantee excellent guest experiences by maintaining spa facility standards and service quality.
  • Proactively address guest needs, manage VIP arrivals, and professionally handle feedback and complaints.
  • Conduct regular quality assessments and protect guest privacy at all times.
  • Continuously assess and enhance service delivery to improve customer satisfaction and ratings.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy, or Beauty Therapy.
  • Between 3 to 5 years of spa industry experience, including 1 to 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong leadership abilities paired with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • In-depth understanding of spa treatments, techniques, and hygiene protocols.
  • A customer-oriented approach with enthusiasm for wellness and superior service provision.
