About the Role

So Drama! Entertainment (SDE) integrates technology to drive creativity, collaboration, and audience engagement. We seek an experienced and visionary Head of Technology and Platform Solutions to architect and lead our technology strategy and capabilities. Reporting to the Executive Director, this leader will oversee technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud operations, and enterprise applications, collaborating with teams across SDE to enable AI, data, digital, and media advancements securely and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement SDE's technology strategy, roadmap, and enterprise architecture aligned with organizational goals and future demands.
• Advise senior leadership on tech opportunities, investments, emerging trends, and associated risks.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives utilizing technology, automation, AI, and data to enhance productivity, effectiveness, user experience, and customer interaction.
• Manage IT operations, infrastructure, network, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, ensuring security, reliability, scalability, and appropriateness.
• Oversee cybersecurity, risk management, and resilience by establishing policies, standards, controls, and preparing business continuity and incident readiness plans.
• Promote responsible AI and data governance supporting adoption and data-driven decision-making.
• Direct design, implementation, and optimization of digital products and platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and customer engagement tools, ensuring scalable and interoperable architectures.
• Partner with media and production teams to provide technology expertise supporting video/audio production, broadcasting, live streaming, and digital asset management.
• Translate organizational needs into effective technology solutions by leading strategic programs and projects with stakeholder alignment and benefit realization.
• Manage technology budgets, procurement, vendor relations, and partnerships to maximize strategic value, cost-efficiency, service quality, and risk management.
• Build and nurture a high-performing, customer-focused, and innovative Technology and Platform Solutions team through coaching, succession planning, and professional growth opportunities.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, security awareness, and operational excellence, representing SDE externally in various industry and government forums.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or equivalent professional background.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in IT operations, infrastructure, cloud technologies, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and technology transformation.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing technology teams.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise-level cybersecurity, information security, and technology risk management.
• Solid understanding of modern cloud architectures, infrastructure, applications, and data technologies.
• Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies, appreciating their benefits, risks, and governance needs.
• Experience managing technology projects and vendor/service provider relationships.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills, capable of conveying complex tech concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in technology-driven media, content, production, or digital environments is a plus.
