Job description
Role Overview
The Head of Operations and Business Development will oversee the entire state-level business, operations, and profit & loss responsibilities. This role demands strategic leadership to enhance cost efficiency, expand business opportunities, and maintain healthy cash flows through a balanced mix of public-private partnerships and private market cash operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage business operations including profit and loss for the state.
- Identify cost control initiatives and uncover new avenues for business expansion.
- Develop and grow public-private partnerships and private cash business to ensure a balanced cash inflow.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain appropriate ageing periods.
- Plan, organize, and oversee all medical and non-medical operations across the state.
- Collaborate closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver diagnostic services adhering to quality standards.
- Maintain optimal operational status of all state centers, minimizing downtime to avoid revenue loss and ensure continuous patient service.
- Enhance company reputation by engaging with customers, government agencies, communities, and employees, while upholding ethical business standards.
- Conduct monthly governance meetings with stakeholders and enforce operational improvements based on outcomes.
- Implement and manage patient feedback processes including regular analysis of feedback data.
- Ensure the enforcement of organizational policies and processes consistently.
- Develop and carry out policies and best practices across diagnostics administration including corporate services, medical insurance, material and facility management.
- Implement infrastructure and management practices to support sustained growth and expansion.
- Use data-driven methods to refine the business model, assess impact, measure performance metrics, and enhance efficiencies.
- Take full accountability for operational performance by establishing incentives, defining KRAs and KPIs, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Lead training and development initiatives to support succession planning and employee retention.
- Oversee facility management in partnership with the facility manager covering clinical and operational areas.
Preferred Candidate Background
Candidates should possess experience in diagnostics or hospital sectors. Retired government officials from Armed Forces are preferred.
