Head / Lead, Cybersecurity

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned cybersecurity leader to head our enterprise-wide cybersecurity efforts, supporting digital transformation projects. The role entails ensuring the robustness, security, and regulatory compliance of ICT infrastructures and digital platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for steering cybersecurity strategies, governance frameworks, risk management processes, incident response activities, and security architecture designs, working closely with business units and technical teams to embed security principles throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cybersecurity functions enterprise-wide to facilitate secure digital transformation initiatives.
• Design, execute, and continuously update cybersecurity strategies, policies, standards, and action plans, aligned with organizational goals.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity governance frameworks ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and best practices.
• Guide cybersecurity leadership in cloud adoption projects spanning IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Evaluate security risks linked to cloud-native technologies including containers, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Oversee cybersecurity risk management via threat-based assessment, risk mitigation, ongoing monitoring, and reporting.
• Manage enterprise cybersecurity posture by keeping visibility over ICT assets, security frameworks, and operational practices.
• Create, refine, and update the Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan and operational playbooks.
• Develop and sustain a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness, training, and education program across the company.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technology fields.
• 8 to 10 years of advancing experience in cybersecurity, information security, or ICT security management, including leadership roles.
• Certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Proven track record managing cybersecurity programs within enterprise ICT environments.
• Expertise in secure design principles, secure architecture assessments, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), securing CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies such as containers, microservices, and serverless setups.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity governance, security architecture, operations, risk assessment methodologies, incident response, digital forensics, and cyber resilience approaches.
• A deep understanding of various cybersecurity risks including malware, ransomware, data protection challenges, regulatory compliance, and secure configuration management.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities and stakeholder engagement skills enabling influence over senior management and cross-department teams.

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
