Job description
Overview
The Head Hostess will oversee guest interactions and reservation coordination to ensure smooth seating and positive customer experiences in a hospitality setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage reservations via online booking systems to optimize seating arrangements and balance table distribution.
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, efficiently manage walk-in customers, and maintain an organized waitlist.
- Guide guests to their tables, distribute menus, and coordinate table assignments to servers.
- Maintain awareness of VIP clientele preferences, including favored seating and meal choices.
- Resolve seating conflicts and address customer complaints courteously and promptly.
- Collaborate with management and kitchen staff regarding the accommodation of large groups, menu modifications, and kitchen timing.
- Solicit guest feedback upon departure to contribute to service and operational improvements.
