Head - Finance & Accounts

Role Overview

As Head of Finance & Accounts at Vijaya Enterprises based in Mumbai, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance operations, ensuring adherence to statutory compliances, managing audits, and providing strategic advisory to optimize costs and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on measures to prevent revenue losses and optimize expenses.
• Provide guidance on export and import transactions, including relevant documentation, GST, and export benefits.
• Certify export transactions and facilitate closure of advance licenses.
• Ensure timely closure of Bank Realisation Certificates (BRCs) by the Exports Team with banks.
• Issue necessary certificates to banks, such as MTT certificates, for document closures.
• Fulfill certification requirements for tenders and individual bank-related purposes.
• Verify stock statements submitted to banks.
• Manage GST return filing for the group entities and individual members including Rakesh Shah, Maitry Shah, Rakesh HUF, Hrishi Shah, and Dhruvi Shah.
• Oversee filing of Income Tax Returns for the group and the associated family members.
• Coordinate with external auditors for account closure and audit reporting along with resolving their queries.
• Lead internal audit processes and keep senior management informed.
• Prepare management accounts and MIS reports regularly.
• Administer budgeting processes and ensure accurate P&L data is available ahead of monthly performance reviews.
• Guarantee compliance with all relevant statutory regulations.
• Build, manage, and strengthen the Finance and Accounts team.
• Undertake all finance and accounting related activities comprehensively.
