About the Role

Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi is looking for a highly talented and innovative Head Chef to lead our culinary department. This position demands a visionary leader who combines creativity with operational efficiency to uphold and elevate the hotel's brand through exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

The Head Chef will be responsible for crafting menus, ensuring excellent kitchen performance, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, managing cost control measures, and developing the culinary team to meet and exceed guest expectations aligned with our brand.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess 3 to 5 years of advancing senior culinary leadership experience within luxury lifestyle hotels or upscale, concept-focused restaurants.
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in international cuisines with the capability to reinterpret global flavors through a modern, locally inspired perspective.
• A passion for culinary innovation and storytelling, creating immersive dining experiences reflecting the destination's culture and the unique Andaz style.
• A strong, hands-on leadership style that motivates, mentors, and empowers a diverse kitchen team while promoting a cooperative and imaginative environment.
• In-depth familiarity with food safety protocols, including HACCP, efficient kitchen management, with an emphasis on quality, sustainability, and responsible ingredient sourcing.
• Advanced communication skills, adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for creativity and detail.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, consistently presenting inventive, high-quality culinary creations while welcoming new ideas and change.
