Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting, engaging, and thanking every customer following The Home Depot's GET Model.
• Proactively approach customers across the store, assisting them in locating merchandise regardless of department.
• Ask insightful questions about customers' projects to assess their needs and expertise level.
• Promote company offerings such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and Pro Services to enhance customer experience.
• Drive sales by discussing product options, recommending complementary items and services beyond your department.
• Educate customers about comprehensive project solutions.
• Utilize empowerment programs when necessary to meet customer satisfaction.
• Maintain daily stock standards by ensuring products are appropriately signed, displayed, and the area is clean.
• Constantly update your knowledge of products in your and adjacent departments.
• Proactively seek information about all products and services.
• Adhere to all safety and loss prevention policies and procedures.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Flexible working hours that may include evenings and weekends.
• Warehouse environment conditions: dusty and noisy, with frequent drafts due to open doors affecting interior temperatures.
• Physical tasks, including bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in retail or trade preferred.

Additional Information

The compensation for this position ranges from $18.60 to $19.60 per hour.
