Role Overview
The company is seeking a proactive Hardware & Electronics Testing Engineer focused on validating electronic hardware, powertrain components, and integration of EV two-wheelers.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute testing and validation of electronic hardware including PCBs, motor controllers, sensors, and power electronics modules.
- Assess the performance and reliability of various EV powertrain parts and complete systems.
- Carry out the integration of electric two-wheelers and conduct vehicle-level assessments.
- Perform diverse testing functions such as functional, performance, thermal, and durability evaluations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and analyze electronic and hardware faults to determine root causes and failures.
- Utilize diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, DC power supplies, electronic loads, and CAN interface devices.
- Support design verification plans (DVP), prototype testing phases, validation procedures, and assist in preparing comprehensive technical documents.
- Collaborate closely with teams spanning Hardware, Embedded Software, Mechanical, and Vehicle Integration disciplines.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a BE or B.Tech degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Electronics engineering disciplines.
- Have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in electronics, electric vehicles, automotive sectors, or power electronics testing.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of electronic circuits, PCB testing methodologies, motor controllers, CAN communication protocols, and proficiency with testing instruments.
- Exhibit good problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical capabilities.
- Prior exposure to EV two-wheeler integration is advantageous.
- Candidates should have their own laptop and two-wheeler vehicle.
- Willingness to undertake travel for on-site vehicle and field testing assignments.
