Job Overview

ABM is looking for a dependable and proficient Handyperson to ensure the upkeep, operational efficiency, and safety of commercial office environments. This role involves diverse maintenance and repair duties such as carpentry, painting, basic electrical work, plumbing assistance, furniture assembly, and general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance and repair tasks in commercial office buildings.
• Utilize carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and general repair skills to maintain facility standards.
• Assemble furniture and conduct facility upkeep to support office functionality and appearance.
• Promote a safe, clean, and professional environment by resolving maintenance issues proactively.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to occupants and visitors.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Experience in general building or facilities maintenance, handyman services, or related areas.
• Knowledge of fundamental carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and facility repair techniques.
• Competent in safely handling hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Basic computer literacy for managing work orders, communication, and reporting tasks.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in commercial office or corporate facility maintenance.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures.
• Certifications or technical training related to trades.

• Safe navigation of ladders, stairs, and elevated areas as needed.

Compensation and Benefits
