Located in the scenic heart of Port Douglas, Tropical North Queensland, Mantra Heritage, Inlet and Village offer stylish accommodations including studios, one and two bedroom suites adorned with saltwater lagoon pools, sundecks, and lush tropical gardens. Role Overview

As a Handyperson, you will act as a versatile maintenance expert, ready to tackle any repair, upkeep, or enhancement tasks needed to maintain the property’s outstanding standards. Your proactive approach helps prevent minor issues from escalating, ensuring everything remains in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain all rooms, facilities, and shared spaces in excellent condition consistently.
• Work cooperatively within a diverse team as well as independently.
• Approach challenges with creativity, finding pragmatic solutions.
• Complete maintenance and preventative projects as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Physically capable with a proactive, persistent attitude to finish tasks safely and neatly.
• Experienced in general building maintenance with hands-on skills in basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work; formal qualifications are not necessary.
• Strong problem-solving capability coupled with effective communication skills across various levels, including management, guests, and onsite contractors.
• Flexible with work hours, including availability on weekends and public holidays.
