  • Collaborate closely with the Maintenance team, hotel departments, and external contractors to ensure quality maintenance outcomes.
  • Assist with outdoor and grounds maintenance activities as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work and strictly follow safety protocols and hotel standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Practical experience in handyperson, maintenance, or facilities roles, ideally within hospitality or hotels.
  • Proficiency in general repair work, including carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, and basic electrical tasks.
  • Competence in safely handling a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset to identify and address issues.
  • Effective organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment.
  • Team-oriented, friendly, adaptable, and willing to support various hotel departments as required.
  • Availability for occasional evening, weekend, or on-call shifts.
  • Relevant trade certifications are beneficial, although practical experience and a positive attitude are equally valued.
