MJM Industrial is recruiting experienced Handyman professionals to join their team at Heathrow Airport, servicing both airside and landside zones.

Role Overview

This is a practical, hands-on role suited for versatile individuals with expertise in various trades. The position entails performing general building maintenance across active locations to a high standard. Work schedules include shifts during the day, night, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting general building fabric repairs, such as patchwork, minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating.
• Executing reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and project jobs within stipulated deadlines.
• Repairing flooring and wall coverings as required.
• Replacing and repairing ceiling tiles.
• Carrying out additional installation and building tasks when necessary.
• Addressing client inquiries, identifying and reporting defects, and providing timely site updates during service calls.
• Ensuring all work-related paperwork, including inspection and remedial logs, is accurately completed.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Experience in maintenance or facilities management roles.
• A valid CSCS card to access Heathrow.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends, with pay uplifts for nights and weekends.
• Ability to provide a 5-year history for security clearance at Heathrow Airport.

Preferred Qualifications

• Competency across multiple trades is advantageous.
