Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Perform safe and proper loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring correct weight distribution and secure fastening of cargo using all available loading equipment efficiently.
- Sort and verify shipments systematically.
- Record, weigh, process, and scan shipments accurately for electronic data processing.
- Conduct general quality assurance tasks and quality checks as part of operational standards.
- Adhere to all ISO safety guidelines and maintain quality standards consistently.
- Maintain clear communication within the team and with all related operational interfaces.
Candidate Profile
- Willingness to work late and night shifts, including weekends.
- Previous experience in a package handling environment within a courier, express, and parcel (CEP) service provider is advantageous.
- Resilience, flexibility, strong communication skills, and teamwork ability are essential.
- Basic knowledge of electronic data processing (EDP) is preferred.
- Hazardous materials knowledge and forklift certification are additional benefits.
- Good German language proficiency is beneficial but not mandatory.
Compensation and Workplace
Remuneration follows the applicable sector-wide collective agreement.
Positions are available within the Special Handling department.
