Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hail Estimator to evaluate vehicle hail damage and provide precise repair cost assessments. This position involves collaboration with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians to ensure repairs are executed effectively and meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles for hail damage and develop comprehensive repair plans along with cost estimates.
• Communicate repair plans to technicians and oversee the repair process.
• Maintain and manage professional relationships with suppliers, clients, and dealerships.
• Estimate hail damage accurately and review repair strategies.
• Handle insurance claims and prepare estimates using Mitchell and Qapter systems.
• Travel to various client locations as business needs dictate.
• Monitor and ensure all repairs conform to quality standards set by the company.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a bodyshop or hail repair environment.
• Proficiency in damage estimation using Mitchell and Audatex/Qapter software.
• Strong understanding of insurance claim procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Willingness and ability to travel across Canada as required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• French language skills are a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging between $60,000 and $70,000.
• Additional benefits include a cell phone allowance and a monthly net earnings bonus percentage.
