About the Role

The position of Detailer at Acura of Hamilton involves cleaning and detailing vehicles to meet dealership standards, ensuring that each vehicle is pristine inside and out before delivery to customers. The role is full-time and requires onsite presence, supporting the service team by maintaining an organized workspace and following safety guidelines while delivering excellent service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Detail the interior and exterior of customer vehicles thoroughly.
• Perform standard detailing tasks including vacuuming, deodorizing, and vehicle washing.
• Ensure car exteriors are spotless and free of smudges.
• Clean vehicle interiors by wiping dashboards, vacuuming seats and carpets, and washing floor mats.
• Apply paint sealants to protect vehicle surfaces.
• Clean and polish wheels and rims to showroom condition.
• Utilize a range of handheld tools for vehicle detailing.
• Report any vehicle parts needing repair or replacement to supervisors or technicians.
• Complete quality control checklists to verify detail quality.
• Assist with other repair tasks as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• This opportunity is full-time and not suitable for part-time, seasonal, or temporary candidates.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Demonstrated interest and knowledge of the automotive industry and vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience handling cleaning products and equipment, such as power washers, is beneficial.
• Dependability, reliability, excellent attention to detail, and strong prioritization skills are necessary.
• Physical capability to meet job demands, including lifting heavy objects, prolonged standing, and using power tools and handheld devices.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
