About the Role
This position is based offshore in Andhra Pradesh, India, seeking a proficient Guidewire BillingCenter Cloud Developer with 7 to 11 years of relevant experience. The developer will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting BillingCenter applications on the Guidewire Cloud Platform while working closely with onsite teams to understand the client's requirements and deliver scalable billing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Guidewire BillingCenter modules using Gosu and Java languages.
- Develop and maintain features related to billing workflows, invoicing, delinquency management, payments, commissions, and general ledger functions.
- Collaborate with onsite teams to assess business needs and facilitate offshore project delivery.
- Handle production incident resolution and provide ongoing technical support for BillingCenter applications.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes including sprint planning and demonstration sessions.
- Perform peer code reviews ensuring compliance with established coding standards.
- Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines and deployment procedures in cloud environments.
- Liaise with third-party service providers and integration stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- 7 to 11 years of hands-on experience specifically in Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Deep knowledge of Guidewire Cloud development standards and best practices.
- Strong programming skills in Gosu and Java.
- Familiarity with billing domain processes.
- Mandatory Guidewire Cloud Certification at Associate or ACE level.
