Since commencing operations in December 2014, the company has played a crucial role in boosting vivo's footprint through a wide-reaching distribution network and customer-centric approach. Expanding across Assam, Sikkim, and other North-Eastern states, Rongsheng has aided regional retail and distribution growth while generating employment.
Their North-East Head Office is situated in Guwahati, Assam, offering a collaborative and professional workplace. Additionally, the central warehouse in Lokhra, Guwahati supports smooth inventory and product distribution, collaborating closely with marketing distributors, branches, and sales teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform daily analysis of inventory stock-in compared to regional market sell-through rates to maintain ideal product availability.
- Advise the sales team using data on prioritization of products based on stock turnover and market demand.
- Coordinate stock allocation among market segments to ensure deployment aligns with regional potential.
- Monitor vivo India's monthly supply plan and evaluate it against actual North-East region needs based on market potential.
- Identify challenges within the supply-to-sales chain through operational reporting.
- Support cross-departmental teams by providing specialized insights on product lifecycle stages and stock-to-sales ratios, aligning GTM and PSS strategies towards unified departmental goals.
- Assist GTM with sales, competitor, and user data gathering and strategic planning aligned with respective departments.
- Contribute to NPL (New Product Launch) strategies by supporting GTM execution across departments and formulating emergency stock reallocation methods during unexpected market or supply disruptions.
- Respond to urgent strategic analysis requests for GTM & PSS, including Demo/Dummy unit deployment strategies and allocation for NPL.
