About the Role
Join Google as a Global System Integrator (GSI) Partner Engineer based in Singapore, working onsite to collaborate closely with GSI Partner development and sales teams. You will be the primary technical advisor for GSI partners, helping them overcome business challenges by providing architectural guidance on Google Cloud solutions and driving technical wins through proofs of concept and demos. This role involves engaging with both technical and business leaders, leveraging your communication and organizational skills to present comprehensive cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the GSI Partner technical strategy aligned with business goals.
- Integrate sales expertise, programming knowledge, and solutions architecture to demonstrate Google Cloud’s value via complex demos, workshops, and pilot projects.
- Design multi-domain cloud solutions and lead the technical engagement to support the delivery process.
- Support GSI Partners in building and improving their Google Cloud practices.
- Act as the main technical liaison for GSI Partners regarding product and solution inquiries by coordinating with Google Cloud’s product and support teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A decade of experience working in cloud-native architectures in roles involving customer interaction or support.
- Hands-on experience with cloud engineering, virtualization, on-premise systems, or container technologies.
- Proven ability to present and engage with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience managing or collaborating with GSI or channel partners as a technical alliance lead or engineer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with selling solutions in areas such as infrastructure modernization, application modernization, data management and analytics, AI, networking, migration, or security.
- Capability to lead comprehensive business cycles, including planning delivery and consumption strategies transitioning for execution.
- Skill in developing strategic technical approaches to discover new customer workloads.
- Experience migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
- Ability to translate customer goals into integrated multi-domain Google Cloud solutions.
