GSE Technician – Join Our Talent Pool

Role Overview

We are looking for skilled Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technicians or Lead GSE Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance of various GSE and fleet vehicles, ensuring their safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. You will also assist and deputize the workshop supervisor by supporting technicians and workshop assistants in troubleshooting and complex repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on a diverse array of Ground Support Equipment and fleet vehicles while adhering to the highest quality standards.
• Diagnose faults and defects in systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, and air conditioning, including executing repairs and overhauls on major components like engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, motors, and compressors.
• Oversee maintenance activities performed by technicians and workshop assistants, aiding in problem identification and complex repairs.
• Support the Workshop Supervisor by inspecting completed maintenance work and ensuring compliance.
• Reference technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and publications to guide maintenance tasks.
• Utilize automated maintenance data systems to log repair activities and track maintenance trends effectively.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all work and activities performed during shifts, submitting reports promptly as directed.
• Uphold excellent housekeeping, tool management, and safety protocols at all times.
• Contribute to the development of less experienced staff through on-the-job training.
• Provide accurate technical reports to supervisors as needed and collaborate to continuously improve repair and maintenance processes.
• Act as deputy to the workshop supervisor when required and perform additional duties assigned by the departmental head.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience; OR a bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Possession of a valid driving license from home country or local jurisdiction.
• Ability to complete Workshop Safety Awareness Course, Ramp Safety Awareness (RSA) Course, and Basic Airside Driving Course.
• Preferred: Prior experience working on GSE and fleet vehicle maintenance within an operational airport setting.
