Role Overview

We are seeking a senior deal-maker for our Growth team responsible for strategy and execution across Starknet's priority verticals like Privacy, Bitcoin, Quantum, and Real-World Assets. This position combines commercial negotiation with deal structuring, involving financial model creation and designing incentive frameworks such as revenue sharing, token incentives, vesting, and earn-outs to establish mutually beneficial partnerships. The ideal candidate has professional experience in structured deals—preferably from top-tier banking, consulting, or law firms—and substantial crypto and DeFi expertise, rather than solely Web3 business development backgrounds. Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements from initial term sheets through to closing is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development and execution within the Growth team’s critical verticals with flexibility to pivot as opportunities arise.
• Source, negotiate, and oversee partnerships comprehensively to enhance Starknet’s infrastructure.
• Craft commercial proposals aiming to accelerate growth across the Starknet ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product, ecosystem, and marketing teams to conceive and implement new partnership solutions enhancing ecosystem success.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations departments to facilitate current and upcoming partnerships.
• Represent Starknet at industry events and conferences to elevate visibility and connect with premier projects.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced senior generalist adept across strategy, business development, partnerships, and product development.
• Proficient in building detailed financial models and structuring incentive and economic arrangements, such as token designs, revenue sharing, earn-outs, and vesting schedules.
• At least 5 years of experience in crypto and DeFi sectors.
• Background in banking, management consulting, or legal training with tenure at a Tier 1 firm.
• Strong commercial acumen and research capabilities, able to formulate solid business cases and financial analyses.
• Established crypto network including senior connections within DeFi protocols, liquidity providers, and financial institutions with a proven track record driving revenue and growth.

Location

We operate as a globally distributed, remote-first organization. Preference is given to candidates located in or with networks in APAC (Singapore/Hong Kong) and New York City.
