Group Supply Chain Director

Overview

The Group Supply Chain Director will lead the entire supply chain function across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and seamless operation of procurement, logistics, inventory, and related processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the Group's comprehensive supply chain activities including planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customs clearance.
• Formulate and execute supply chain strategies, policies, and operational plans aligned with overall business objectives.
• Guarantee timely availability of raw materials, production inputs, and finished goods while upholding quality and supply continuity.
• Manage procurement processes and supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing, quality adherence, approval compliance, and timely deliveries.
• Supervise inventory and warehouse operations maintaining optimal stock levels, proper storage conditions, accuracy, and efficient use of warehouse resources.
• Optimize logistics and transportation to ensure efficient distribution, cost containment, and resource utilization.
• Track supply chain performance metrics, costs, risks, and operational efficiency and lead ongoing improvement efforts to enhance productivity and reduce expenses.
• Lead and mentor the supply chain team ensuring adherence to policies, quality standards, budget constraints, regulatory requirements, and strong collaboration with internal and external partners.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related area.
• A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or similar is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications in supply chain management will be beneficial.
• At least 15 years of experience in supply chain roles, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• General training in areas such as public administration, strategic management, organizational behavior, team leadership, conflict resolution, and financial analysis.
• Specific training related to supply chain functions such as planning, procurement, inventory and warehouse management, and quality systems.
• Proficiency in English adequate to fulfill job responsibilities effectively.
