Role Overview

As the Group Product Manager for Ad Platforms Digital Experiences, you will oversee and guide a skilled group of Product Managers responsible for the Ads Manager platform. Acting as a 'player-coach,' your role involves steering your team towards success while owning the consolidated product roadmap. You'll transform strategic frameworks into actionable plans, align your team, and drive excellent results. You will serve as the leading figure for product management within this group, cultivating a culture of excellence, responsibility, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, unified product roadmap for the Ads Manager platform that integrates insights from product teams, senior leadership, and critical business stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and nurture the development of Product Managers, fostering career advancement and instilling a world-class product management culture through continuous coaching and feedback.
  • Champion product innovation by recognizing opportunities for new technologies that enhance efficiency and improve client and product experiences.
  • Act as the main product liaison with engineering, design, and business units, managing alignment, dependencies, and seamless communication to ensure smooth value delivery.
  • Maintain consistent, transparent communication with key stakeholders to ensure engagement, alignment, and collective contribution to the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Promote operational excellence by embedding best product management practices in discovery, delivery, and market introduction processes, utilizing data-driven insights to guide decisions and assess impact.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Over 10 years of experience in product management, including a minimum of 3 years in formal leadership roles.
  • Proven capability in managing and scaling complex B2B/SaaS products, preferably within ad technology, retail media, or eCommerce sectors.
  • Skilled in overseeing product portfolios with expertise in consolidating roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, and making strategic trade-offs.
  • Leadership style marked by empathy and commitment to developing talent while upholding a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Adept at linking daily product development activities with overarching business strategies and commercial goals.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, strategic thinking, resilience in handling ambiguity, and facilitation of team cooperation and alignment.

Work Environment and Benefits

  • Flexible hybrid work arrangement with two working-from-home days and office presence based in Surry Hills, Sydney.
  • Engagement in a role that positively impacts teams contributing to community enrichment.
  • Exposure to a global enterprise offering vast career growth opportunities across multiple disciplines and a broad professional network.
  • Access to wellness programs including 24/7 support through the Sonder app.
  • Competitive and progressive leave policies designed to support personal priorities.
  • Exclusive team discounts across Woolworths Group brands and a robust rewards program recognizing purpose-driven achievements.

Commitment to Inclusion and Diversity

As an integral part of the Woolworths Group, we cherish diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, recognizing the strength that varied experiences and perspectives bring.
