About the Role
We are seeking a Group Financial Controller for a prominent international healthcare company based in South Dublin. This pivotal role reports directly to the CFO and is responsible for the overall management of the finance function, with a strong focus on enhancing financial controls within the Irish operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial control and reporting ensuring adherence to IFRS and FRS102 standards.
- Manage and strengthen robust financial controls across multiple company branches.
- Drive improvements in systems and processes, optimizing the use of current financial systems.
- Handle cash flow management, working capital, audits, taxation, and compliance matters.
- Participate in strategic initiatives such as due diligence and support potential acquisitions through comprehensive financial analysis.
Qualifications and Experience
- Professional accountancy qualification from a recognized body.
- At least five years of senior accounting experience within a multi-site organization.
- Demonstrated career progression and notable achievements in previous positions.
- Residency within reasonable commuting distance of South County Dublin.
