Role Overview
This senior leadership role entails directing the Group's financial strategy and growth, ensuring excellence in financial management, reporting, and corporate transactions, as well as leading finance function transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute long-term financial strategy and growth initiatives for the Group.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and effective business partnership within the portfolio.
- Provide strategic advice on capital allocation, investments, mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and corporate transactions.
- Manage treasury operations, banking relationships, funding policies, and capital structure optimization.
- Maintain robust financial controls, governance framework, compliance adherence, and high-quality reporting standards.
- Champion finance function modernization through transformation, process automation, data-driven decision-making, and system enhancements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, shareholders, lenders, and other external stakeholders.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance leadership team within the Group.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a recognized accounting qualification such as ACA, CA, CPA, or an equivalent credential.
- Brings over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in finance roles.
- Demonstrated success as a Group CFO in complex, multi-entity organizations.
- Experienced in financial planning & analysis, treasury management, corporate finance, financial controls, and capital deployment.
- Proficient in M&A activities including investment evaluation and transaction execution.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Has worked closely with Boards, executive teams, shareholders, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
- Track record in leading finance transformation initiatives and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Essential UAE market experience with advantageous broader GCC exposure.
