Job description
Position Overview
Our client, a thriving international company located in Böblingen with a strong market presence and sustained growth, is seeking to expand its finance team. The firm offers modern organizational structures, quick decision-making processes, and a professional finance environment that allows proactive contributions to the evolution of group accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements at group level.
- Conduct consolidation processes for national and international subsidiaries.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and accounting transactions.
- Develop consolidated reports and management analyses.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS accounting standards.
- Analyze balance sheet items and assist with complex accounting topics.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive the enhancement of consolidation and reporting processes.
- Participate in projects focused on the digitalization and harmonization of financial workflows.
- Contribute to improving accounting standards across the corporate group.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in group accounting, consolidated financial reporting, or audit.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting standards HGB and IFRS.
- Proven experience in group consolidation and reporting.
- Proficiency with ERP and consolidation software systems.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills paired with a strong affinity for numbers.
- Organized, self-reliant, and solution-oriented working approach.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in international environments.
- Fluent German and good command of English, both spoken and written.
