Position Overview

Our client, a thriving international company located in Böblingen with a strong market presence and sustained growth, is seeking to expand its finance team. The firm offers modern organizational structures, quick decision-making processes, and a professional finance environment that allows proactive contributions to the evolution of group accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements at group level.
  • Conduct consolidation processes for national and international subsidiaries.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and accounting transactions.
  • Develop consolidated reports and management analyses.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Analyze balance sheet items and assist with complex accounting topics.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive the enhancement of consolidation and reporting processes.
  • Participate in projects focused on the digitalization and harmonization of financial workflows.
  • Contribute to improving accounting standards across the corporate group.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in group accounting, consolidated financial reporting, or audit.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting standards HGB and IFRS.
  • Proven experience in group consolidation and reporting.
  • Proficiency with ERP and consolidation software systems.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills paired with a strong affinity for numbers.
  • Organized, self-reliant, and solution-oriented working approach.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in international environments.
  • Fluent German and good command of English, both spoken and written.
