We invite individuals to express interest in joining our permanent team as a Groundsperson at RAAF Townsville. This entry-level position welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds including Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and upkeep of site grounds and gardens to high standards.
- Assess and manage risks related to grounds maintenance activities.
- Receive training to operate various grounds maintenance machinery such as ride-on mowers and whipper snippers.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a current Open Driver's Licence.
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance; Australian citizenship is mandatory.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to delivering quality results to clients.
