Groundskeeper

Position Overview

The Groundskeeper will oversee the upkeep and beautification of property grounds, ensuring an inviting and well-maintained outdoor environment. Responsibilities include routine lawn care, equipment maintenance, flower bed tending, trash removal, and general landscape repair tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect and maintain lawns through mowing, edging, raking, and other related activities.
• Clean, wash, refuel, and maintain all landscaping equipment after use.
• Maintain flower beds, hanging baskets, and planters by watering, weeding, trimming, and other necessary care.
• Empty and bag trash from all outdoor receptacles consistently.
• Maintain features such as fountains, planters, and other landscape elements by cleaning, repairing, or replacing as needed.
• Ensure safety and maintain sidewalks, driveways, cart paths, and parking lots by filling cracks, patching holes, and other repairs.
• Operate tractors, trucks, and utility vehicles to transport necessary supplies and equipment.
• Follow all company protocols regarding safety and security, report equipment defects, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality and protection of company assets.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve shared objectives.
• Physically perform tasks that may include standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, climbing ladders, and maneuvering on uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Manage snow removal and ice maintenance if applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Experience: Less than one year of related work experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience is not required.
• No licenses or certifications are mandatory.

• Position Type: Non-Management, full-time role located at 2365 Kaanapali Parkway, Lahaina, HI 96761.
• Compensation: $24.35 per hour.
• Schedules adhere to full-time hours; remote work is not applicable.
