Job Location and Contract
This position is based in Helensburgh, Scotland, on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves working 36 hours per week from Monday to Friday with a pay rate of £15.67 per hour.
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on and diligent Grounds Person dedicated to maintaining outdoor areas at an outstanding level. Your efforts will ensure that these spaces remain tidy, secure, and visually appealing throughout the entire year.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, hedges, shrubs, and flower beds regularly.
- Perform grass cutting, weeding, and litter collection tasks efficiently.
- Operate all grounds maintenance tools and equipment safely and competently.
- Assist with seasonal duties including planting, leaf clearance, gritting, and snow removal.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred.
- A motivated and proactive attitude accompanied by a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Holding a full UK driving license is desirable.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Flexible to accommodate early starts, seasonal overtime, and winter on-call responsibilities.
