Role Overview
ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services is seeking a dedicated full-time Cleaner to join their cleaning and facilities teams in Exeter, England. The role involves maintaining safe, clean, and hygienic environments for clients and customers, fulfilling a 35-hour weekly contract with weekday daytime shifts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborating with cleaning and facilities staff to uphold hygiene and safety standards across client sites.
- Carrying out thorough cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
- Regular sanitization of surfaces, floors, windows, and frequently touched points to prevent contamination.
- Swiftly addressing additional cleaning assignments such as spotting and mopping spills as necessary.
- Emptying rubbish bins and managing waste disposal appropriately.
- Keeping an inventory of cleaning materials and replenishing them as required.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- A positive attitude toward practical, hands-on work.
- Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work commitments.
