Role Summary
We are seeking multiple Ground Transport Officers to join our team, working a rotating shift schedule with alternating day and night shifts. The role involves monitoring car parks and terminal forecourts to ensure safety and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and assist all visitors at Perth Airport with information and support.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and respond promptly to visitor inquiries.
- Carry out regular patrols and inspections of airport roadways, forecourts, and facilities.
- Identify hazards, defects, or suspicious activities and maintain area safety.
- Maintain precise records concerning health and safety, training, and customer service activities.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated passion and experience in customer service roles.
- Comfortable working outdoors and able to manage 12-hour rotating shifts (2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off).
- Strong listening, communication skills, and empathy when dealing with customers.
- Ability to remain composed and professional in challenging situations.
- Possess a valid full Driver’s Licence.
- Experience with traffic management certifications RIIWHS302D (Implement traffic management plan) and RIIWHS250D (Control traffic using stop-slow bat) is preferred; first aid certification and white card are advantageous but training will be provided.
