As a Ground Handler based at Kelowna International Airport, you will provide essential support to Canada's top airlines as part of the Below the Wing team (YLW). You will report directly to a supportive Shift Lead dedicated to your success.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to airline procedures and Transport Canada's regulatory standards.
• Operate and maneuver ground service equipment safely and efficiently.
• Guide aircraft to the gate by marshalling and wing-walking duties.
• Organize, load, and unload passenger baggage according to load plans.
• Transport baggage to the claim area and place it onto the conveyor system.
• Service aircraft water systems and lavatories as required.
• Conduct thorough inspections of ramp areas to identify and remove debris.
• Perform aircraft grooming duties including cleaning the cabin, galleys, lavatories, and restocking supplies.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, daytime, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel, push, and pull for prolonged periods.
• Capability to consistently lift objects weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Required to wear safety gear including steel-toe boots (with green patch), reflective vest, and hearing protection.
• Must fulfill all employment prerequisites:
  • Possession of a Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
