Role Overview

As a Grocery Clerk, you will be tasked with executing all duties related to the role in a diligent, professional, and timely manner. Delivering excellent customer service and fostering customer loyalty are key priorities, as is contributing to an engaging environment for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all food safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, health and safety regulations, corporate policies, and other company initiatives.
• Order, receive, and organize stock consistent with company inventory management protocols.
• Provide outstanding customer service to satisfy customer requirements.
• Boost store revenue by proactively promoting featured products.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the back shop and sales floor areas in line with company standards.
• Prepare customer orders when necessary.
• Manage department inventory shrinkage processes as required.
• Assist in training junior colleagues.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Physical capability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs, stand for extended durations, and perform physical activities such as bending, reaching, and lifting.
