Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the grocery area to consistently meet Walmart's department standards, ensuring it is clean, organized, and properly zoned for an optimal customer experience.
• Perform regular stock rotation and remove any expired or damaged products to ensure freshness and uphold product quality.
• Accurately price and sign merchandise, following firm procedures for ordering, clearance sales, markups, markdowns, signage, and labeling.
• Adhere strictly to protocols concerning food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness to sustain a safe and hygienic workspace.
• Manage stocking duties thoroughly, including replenishment, downstocking, product protection applications, and modular setups such as flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies diligently to ensure a workplace free of hazards.
• Adapt to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business requirements and maintain smooth store operations.

Challenges in the Role

• Efficiently handle a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced setting, including overnight shifts, by maintaining energy and focus throughout your work hours.
• Carry out physically demanding duties such as standing for prolonged periods, bending, lifting supplies up to 50 lbs, and repetitively stocking and organizing with keen attention to detail.

Compensation

The starting pay for this role begins at $16.15 per hour.
