About the Role

As a Grocery Associate with Walmart Canada, you will gain valuable experience in a vibrant, fast-moving retail setting. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper zoning of the grocery area to keep it customer-ready at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired or damaged goods to ensure high product quality and freshness.
• Accurately price, sign, and manage inventory according to established procedures including ordering, clearance, markdowns, and labeling.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols to foster a safe and hygienic workspace.
• Perform stocking duties, including downstocking, product protection, and implementing modular displays such as flex modulars and shelf caps.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Demonstrate schedule flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs dictate.
• Manage a fast-paced workload efficiently, staying attentive and energized throughout shifts that may include overnight hours.
• Engage in physical tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting of inventory and equipment up to 20 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive stocking and organizing motions with precision.

The starting pay rate for this position is $16.15 per hour.
