Job description
Overview
We are looking for a Security Architecture and Technical Risk Consultant to spearhead security architecture evaluations, Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) risk assessments, and threat modeling projects. This position involves analyzing network, cloud, and application environments, verifying technical security controls, and formulating risk narratives, architectural diagrams, and remediation strategies. The consultant will work closely with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) teams on various compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, ISO 42001, SOC 2, Security-by-Design, and SDLC assessments.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct leadership in evaluating security architectures, performing CII risk assessments, and implementing threat modeling techniques across diverse technology layers including networks, cloud platforms, and applications.
- Utilize methodologies such as STRIDE-LM, MITRE ATT&CK, and LINDDUN to create architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams (DFDs), attack paths, and comprehensive risk registers.
- Perform validation of security controls for firewalls, Active Directory, networks, servers, virtual machines, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
- Assist in Security-by-Design initiatives, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI-CD), Static Application Security Testing (SSAT), and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and SOC standards.
- Translate complex technical assessment results into understandable business risk summaries and actionable remediation plans.
